Eco claims need a complete view

A plant-derived ingredient or green-colored pack does not by itself make a cleaner sustainable. Consider formula concentration, pack weight, shipping water, refill durability, dosing accuracy and what local recycling or waste systems can actually process. The best improvement may be a lighter bottle, a concentrated refill or clearer dosing rather than a broad 'zero impact' promise.

Refills must remain safe and stable

A refill system should prevent contamination, spills and accidental mixing. The pouch or cartridge needs clear product identity, batch coding, directions and compatibility with the original container. Consumers should never top up an unwashed bottle with a different formula. Stability, preservation and transport testing still apply to the refill format.

Avoid the microplastic shortcut

Do not claim 'zero microplastics' unless the finished formula, fragrance delivery system, packaging context and test definition support it. Likewise, biodegradable packaging claims need a named standard and disposal condition. Transparent, narrow claims build more trust than sweeping environmental language.
